She has been working as Lecturer Chemistry at Tariq Bin Ziad College, Karachi, Pakistan. Then, she joined Synthetic Chemistry, University of Southampton, England, the United Kingdom as a Researcher. After that, the researcher position by Shagufta HEJ (Research Institute of Chemistry (International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences) Karachi, Pakistan). She also worked as Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacognosy, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from September 2009 to November 2014. While she was working in the same position, she got an offer from the Department of Pharmacognosy, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the position of Associate Professor.
